In this week’s Munchy Mondays I’m trying Taco Bell’s new Fajita Street Chalupas — and I have to say, these are legitimately one of the best new menu items they’ve dropped in a long time.
I took the popular STACKED Fried Chicken Sandwich recipe and made it my own: swapping in STACKED Sweet Habanero hot sauce instead of the Original Jalapeno, and frying the chicken in high-quality beef tallow for that extra crispy, flavorful crunch.
In this week's Whatever Wednesdays, I just provide a few channel updates and talk about things to come. Like I always say, if you'd like to have any topic discussed or have a question answered in the next WW video, please drop a comment below and I will be sure to address it next week.
Most imperial stouts hit you with thick, heavy body and that sharp alcohol burn. This one? **Surprisingly smooth, incredibly easy-drinking, and dangerously sessionable** for a beer this big. It still delivers all the rich, dark malt character and decadent flavor you want from a good stout, but without the heaviness or booziness that usually comes with the style.
It was really tasty with nice smoky ancho chile notes, sweetness from the dates, and warm spices like cumin, cinnamon, and Mexican oregano. Great classic adobo flavor profile that shines on tacos and bold meals. However, the intense heat really impacts the overall flavor experience (especially for the average person), which factors into my scoring. We tried the Lemon Drop Variety Pack from Bartesian — the at-home cocktail machine that’s basically a Keurig for alcoholic drinks. We had a lot of fun tasting all four flavors together!
